Fujix Digital Camera HC-2000

The HC-2000 permits one-click recording of digital image data, eliminating the need for scanning. This new digital camera saves time, simplifies processing and gives you greater control over printed results.

In most single-CCD digital camera systems, image quality suffers from the inability to capture each of the red, green and blue components of light. In contrast, the HC-2000 utilizes three CCDs, one each for Red, Green, and Blue, creating a full-color image in one operation without loss of resolution of quality.

With shutter speeds of up to 1 / 2,000-sec. and smooth gradation, the HC-2000 produces print quality to rival top-level film-based cameras. And this digital camera operates just like a conventional camera, eliminating the need for special training. The Fujifilm-developed large CCD's are even sensitive enough to image bright fluorescence. The HC-2000 can be mounted on your laboratory microscope and is an ideal instrument for histologically stained tissue sections.

Technical Features

Three 1,280 x 1,000-pixel VT CCDs, fitted with an RGB prism like those used in broadcasting TV cameras, enables you to capture full-color images in a single pass. Since these CCDs record only pure data, the color registration is perfect.
Exclusive non-linear signal processing and 10-bit A/D conversion yield images with rich tonal gradations from highlights through shadows.
An optional memory upgrade permits a maximum of 12 consecutive shots (2 seconds/shot).
A preview function permits instantaneous viewing of a single shot. The maximum 1 / 2,000 second shutter speed and synchronized stobe lets you photograph still life and even fast moving subjects.
