Fujifilm

Now see weak light images with high sensitivity and high resolution.

The Fujifilm LAS-1000plus is a high resolution cooled CCD camera optimised for low light imaging of chemiluminescence, fluorescence and chemifluorescence. In this difficult regime, the LAS-1000plus offers superior performance through its Fujifilm-developed high-sensitivity CCD, the industry's brightest lens and optimised design.

The LAS-1000plus delivers class-leading sensitivity for chemiluminescence, and features high quality 1.3 million pixel images with 4 orders of magnitude dynamic range and 14-bit precision. It combines illumination for common fluorescent dyes such as EtBr with ease of operation, and does all this within a compact footprint.

LAS-1000plus For class leading sensitivity with low light samples, turn to the LAS-1000. Explore the versatility offered by chemiluminescence, fluorescence and chemifluorescence imaging. LAS-1000 shown at left. Computer equipment not included.

Convenient operation and high quality images.

  • Optimum exposure time is easily determined through the flexible LAS-1000plus capture modes.
  • Automatic focus via a motorised lens for simple operation.
  • The captured image is displayed immediately with optimum contrast.
  • Software is available for Windows PC and Macintosh.
  • Capture weak light images even in an ordinary room using the LAS-1000plus "intelligent Dark Box". Long exposure times are possible even in a brightly lit laboratory.
  • The Dark Box also offers flexibility for fluorescence illumination and densitometric analysis.

Now a Single System captures chemiluminescent, fluorescent and chemi-fluorescent images.

When a fluorescent or chemi-fluorescent image is captured with this system, a blue-LED epi-illuminator is used to excite the related dyes. This epi-illuminator operates at a wavelength of 470 nm.

The Fujifilm LAS-1000plus accepts Membrane of Gel samples up to 25 x 25 cm size and allows use of a variety of reagents:

  • Chemiluminescence - Use CDP-Star®, ECLTM
  • Fluorescence - Use EtBr, SYBR®Green I & II, FITC
  • Chemi-fluorescence - use AttoPhosTM

New cooled 1.3M pixel CCD camera acquires images with high sensitivity and high resolution.

This revolutionary new camera can handle continuous exposure up to a full hour. Other new features include:

  • One inch CCD (each pixel is covered with a micro lens)
  • Installed electronic cooling device (Peltier element)
  • Highest quantitation performance: 4 orders of magnitude linearity and 16,384 gradations (14 bits)
  • The industry's brightest lens (F:0.85)
