Image Analysis Education

We are aware that Image Analysis means different things to different people. To some, it consists of pulling down from the Net a shareware program and running it on an office PC or a Mac. To others it means investing in a combination of hardware, software and imaging devices, often costing tens if not hundereds of thousands of dollars.

At Berthold Australia, we work daily with an entire spectrum of Image Analysis Systems. This is why we have decided to offer a number of short courses, covering topics such as:

• Fundamentals of Image Analysis
• Image Analysis in Fluorescence and Light Microscopy
• 3D Reconstruction of Autoradiography, Electron and Light Microscopy Images
• Automated Grain and Cell Counting
• Tiled Field Mapping (Automated Image Montage in Light Microscopy)
• Receptor Binding Studies
• Gel Analysis
• Operation of Storage Phosphor Imagers

All sessions will be hands on, and each participant will have access to a workstation.
